Ambrosia is a transitional serif typeface, with elements of humanist and uncial script grandfathered in through its development. Metal type elements were introduced to allow legibility at smaller scales. Ambrosia is an intended text typeface, developed to be set between 10pt - 24pt in larger bodies of copy. Its character can be seen at larger scales, but the fundamental character design is fit for smaller scales.
