ONE-OFF’S & PROJECTS
This page is an archive of independent or smaller projects that I’ve taken on! As a designer, illustrator, and creative I enjoy applying myself to an array of projects that either I find interesting, I find creatively challenging, or are commissioned/asked of me.

Custom Magic the Gather Cards
Illustration Commission
2026
This is an illustration commission for eight customized cards with original artwork. These are pre-established Magic the Gathering cards that a typical player would be familiar with even without the romance copy or move description. I was given free creative licence to make the custom artwork for these cards in my own style, while following some standards of what the card art depicts within reasonable artistic interpretation.

Elizabeth Paige Theatre
Mock Branding for Stage Play
The Fox Den Collective
2026
This was a request from The Fox Den Collective for their show R+J: Closing Night. The ask was for a suite of branded assets for the fictional “Elizabeth Paige Theatre" which was described as a stuffy and out of date municipal theatre putting on dated classics with no energy or excitement remaining in the aging patrons. If this theater's logo had been in the 80’s I figured slightly ornate stylized initials making up the logo made sense as something longstanding but impotent.

Guys You’re Friends With
Student Film Movie Poster
2026
The poster for a student horror movie, a woman finds out her new male friend is not who he says he is, and his recently missing roommate may indeed not be missing but murdered. She must fight to save her own life, and the spirit of her fellow victimized woman.
I took cues from the film's dramatic lighting and “peer in closer” concept for the darkness of the poster, only giving suggestions of detail at first glance.
Scents of Purpose
Patina Mag Event Poster
2025
The poster for a workshop hosted by Patina Patina featuring Kristi Chen leading participants through the process of making incense. For this and future workshops hosted by Patina Patina I developed the Workshopp graphic at the top of the poster.
Hand drawn letterforms for the title and hand drawn image frame. The images were provided by Kristi Chen and the macro shot of the incense sticks drying was compelling imagery and lent visual interest to the composition.
A Change is Proposed for this Site
Swash & Serif gallery exhibit
2025
This is a diptych letterform piece that I made as a submission to the Swash & Serif gallery exhibit. It is cut from a reclaimed condo development sign that has been dismounted and was slated for disposal by the city. Instead I grabbed it, cut it down to two pieces each measuring roughly 3 foot by 4 foot, and cut and trimmed by hand forming the phrases:
“We are not now as we were” & “We will not then be as we are”

Tools for Togetherness
Patina Mag Event Poster
2025
A poster for a then upcoming panel event hosted by Patina Mag on community development. Patina Mag is brand agnostic so no branded elements were used in the design, the initial brief being “something that makes you smile”. I drew most of the letters by hand as one piece both because it was cute and emphasised togetherness literally.

Spring Summer 25’ Signage
Pillar Brand
2024
The Pillar Spring Summer 2025 line pulled inspiration from Japanese baseball, collegiate americana, and sports leisurewear of the 90’s. Having mentioned my interest in sign painting in the past, Eric asked if I would paint a piece on the wall of the show room Pillar was host in. Over the course of 3 weeks, I honed my ability to sign paint, came up with a layout, and executed the three colour signage.

Fall Winter 24’ Packaging Stamps
Pillar Brand
2024
I was brought into discussion regarding the packaging options for the Pillar Brand garments that were ordered from the previous season and were ready to be shipped. Eric, the founder of Pillar, wanted to integrate the brand in the experience of opening the packaged garment. With limited space to work with and custom mailer options not available in time for shipping, we landed on producing stamps to be used on the paper each garment was wrapped in. A large Pillar logo stamp was made, as well as an alternate logo designed to mimic Chinese and Korean name seals.

Artxindustry Coach Jackets
Creative Team Merch
artxindustry
2024
Based on a doodle, I was asked by the founder and creative director to put together a graphic for the back of a coach jacket that would be produced for our then team of five. The individual graphic elements plus more were developed to mimic streetwear graphics of the time. Our intention with this truly in-house project was a black and white maximalist garment to rep the brand.
